The promises Dealing with the realities The process The mess
To continue on Now that you've gone The days gone by The reflections and sighs
Your ring removed That day, I was blue The realization "OUR" life, also gone
I sit and smoke My throat, choked The expectations My dream, gone
It has been hard Of my life, You were a part The cards were dealt Then you left
I go about town Wondering if you might be around But I never see you You've disappeared out of the blue
The paths The past The choices Internal voices
The future Presenting itself more and more A caterpillar to a butterfly The next level in life
